Senior Application Engineer


Viximo is building a rich creative community and a massively scalable service to deliver content over the web that helps creators, developers, and site owners monetize social interactions. Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for developing the application level components for Viximo’s portfolio of iPhone games and applications
  • You will work closely with the art team, lead designer, and engineering team to build iPhone games and applications
  • You will need to interface with Viximo’s server engineering team to integrate with the Viximo virtual goods platform
  • You will need to become thoroughly fluent in the user interface and application service capabilities of the iPhone SDK

Qualifications:

  • You must have 5+ years of native application experience and must be an expert in C/C++
  • You must have expert knowledge of one or more application frameworks such as Cocoa or Win32
  • iPhone and/or Mac development experience is a very strong plus
  • Experience consuming SOAP or REST-based server APIs from native applications is a strong plus
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile is a strong plus

This is a full-time position, on-site at our offices in Cambridge, MA.
