Senior Gameplay Engineer


Viximo is building a rich creative community and a massively scalable service to deliver content over the web that helps creators, developers, and site owners monetize social interactions. Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for building the gameplay mechanics, behaviors, and tools for Viximo’s portfolio of casual iPhone games
  • You with work closely with the art team and lead designer to gather requirements for and implement both game systems and tools

Qualifications:

  • You must have 5+ years of game programming experience and experience working on at least one shipped title
  • You must be an expert in C/C++ and at least one scripting language
  • You must have experience building both gameplay mechanics and game design / level editing tools
  • Mobile experience and casual gaming experience are a strong plus
  • Experience with iPhone development is a strong plus
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile is a strong plus

This is a full-time position, on-site at our offices in Cambridge, MA.
