Lead Product Designer


Viximo is building a rich creative community and a massively scalable service to deliver content over the web that helps creators, developers, and site owners monetize social interactions. We're the product of a cool co-working space in Cambridge, so if you've ever considered starting your own company or are excited about the opportunity to make a big impact on something in its earliest stages, this is the place for you. Responsibilities:

  • You will hold the product design vision for all Viximo Studios products.
  • Conceptualize, design, and specify Viximo’s portfolio of iPhone games and applications.
  • Provide creative and design direction for Viximo’s next generation virtual gifts and goods.
  • Provide high-level design direction for company’s web destinations.

Qualifications:

  • You must have 5+ years of experience in casual game design, virtual world design, or designing entertainment-oriented web products.
  • You must have a strong understanding of how to appeal to and design for our core demographic of mass-market 18-26 year old females.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fun, open team environment
  • Knowledge of gameplay scripting and gameplay tool design is a strong plus.
  • Non-design development experience (artist, audio, engineering, etc.) is a strong plus.

This is a full-time position, on-site at our offices in Cambridge, MA.
