Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:
- As the first Quality hire, you'll be expected to demonstrate expertise and leadership in a variety of software QA concepts, practices, and procedures.
- You will be testing new web and mobile applications using a variety of new technologies.
- You will develop and maintain automated/performance scripts using automated testing tools and framework.
- You will design models and transaction flows to analyze system performance and capacity impacts.
- You will assess and report severity and priority of problems found during validation cycles, considering customer impact, functionality, usability, performance, etc.
- You will work closely with Development and Product Management to review and understand functional requirements.
Qualifications:
- You must have have excellent manual, automation and performance analysis QA skills as well as technical and team leadership capabilities.
- You must have 3+ years of experience creating automated regression tests and performance testing of web-based applications and services with open source tools or scripting languages.
- You must have experience testing web applications backed by relational databases running on Unix/Linux systems.
- You must have excellent problem solving skills, be self-motivated, and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience testing high performance / high scale application is a strong plus.
This is a full-time position, on-site at our offices in Cambridge, MA.
