System Administrator
Viximo is building a rich creative community and a massively scalable service to deliver content over the web that helps creators, developers, and site owners monetize social interactions. Responsibilities:
- You will be working daily in a multi-server Linux cloud built on Amazon's Web Services.
- Design, implement, operate, and monitor the high scale, high uptime environment.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Extensive experience administering a Linux server cloud, preferably Amazon EC2.
- Extensive knowledge of Linux, networking, scripting, and system monitoring.
- Knowledge of Capistrano, Apache, Mongrel, Varnish, MySQL and Memcached.
This is a full-time position, on-site at our offices in Cambridge, MA.
