Q:

What kind of operational support do you provide? Uptime/downtime monitoring of our application?

A:

We monitor the uptime and manage maintenance windows of our platform and the application partners' games in realtime, testing every 3 minutes from several international locations. We handle the real-time detection of operational outages, and coordinate the response, both in communication to the end-users in the form of a graceful outage notice within the gaming experience, and in communicating to the appropriate parties to resolve the issue.

Q:

What kind of analytics do you provide?

A:

Viximo provides a full suite of analytics options that are used to measure and optimize social game interactions on your site. This information is available to you via a real-time dashboard. In addition, we will conduct weekly calls to assess your site’s social gaming business and drill into more detailed analytic questions.

Who handles customer support for my game?

A:

Viximo has dedicated support engineers who can handle all customer support questions and issues related to your game. We triage issues on a daily basis and only require your assistance for issues that cannot be resolved by Viximo’s customer support staff.

We route all customer support questions that arise within our gaming experience to a centralized help desk where any problem is isolated and passed on to the appropriate partner or internal team for resolution. No need to directly respond to each query yourself - we can post standard answers and FAQ responses to issues real-time, to minimize user confusion and get them back to playing (and spending!) as quickly as possible.

Who handles customer acquisition for my game?

A:

Viximo handles all marketing and promotion of your game on each network. Once we have a signed contract we will go over our 90-day marketing plan for your game which detail our customer acquisition plans. We will closely monitor your traffic and monetization to drive as much revenue as possible for your game.

Through our preferred relationships with the sites in the Viximo network, we can access promotional channels not generally available to developers.  We work with each site to develop a customized marketing plan for your game title utilizing the most effective promotional mechanisms specific to each site. We also can advise you what viral elements may help your game succeed even more.

Q:

Do I need to integrate international payment methods?

A:

Viximo integrates and supports optimal payment methods for the countries included in our network.  By integrating with the Viximo platform you automatically have access to the payment methods preferred by users no matter where they are located.

Q:

My game is only in English. Do I have to translate it for international distribution?

A:

Many international sites do require localization.  If your application is only in a single language, we will advise you on the process to make your application ready for localization. This is a straightforward process with some clear areas to address. We also help QA the resulting application.

If your application already runs in more than one language, we will provide the up-front and on-going translation for all of your application's content and functionality, into whatever language our publisher partners need. We currently run in over 8 languages, with more on the horizon, without major issue. We also have artists who can assist with any design conversions on splash screens or landing pages that need to be completed as well. Breathe easy, we're here to help.

What kind of technology is used in the integration?

Both a set of JS components and RESTful services are used.

Q:

How much work is it for my application to be released onto an additional network?

A:

If you have integrated to the Viximo Platform, the only extra work for a new network is typically monitoring the application for the additional traffic we will be sending from the new publisher. Application activation is completely managed by the Viximo platform and promotion is jointly run by the publisher partner and the Viximo marketing team. That way, you can concentrate on producing and updating the great content of your game - which is what you do best!

How big is the off-Facebook opportunity for a game developer? Why should I put my game on sites other than Facebook?

A:

Facebook accounts for about 30% of the global social networking market.  But that leaves 70% of the market untapped!  By integrating once with Viximo you gain access to dozens of social networking sites and millions of potential new users across the globe.
