Frequently asked questions

For everything else
you’re wondering

Q:

You guys sound awesome! Who do I bribe to get hired?

A:

While the process does vary depending on the role, often we will start with a phone conversation and then move onto one to two rounds of in person, in office interviews with several Viximo team members and our management team. Creative role candidates will be asked to present a portfolio of work while Project Management and Engineering candidates will be asked to give a “team talk” on a subject of their choosing to their future team. Look for a list of current openings here.

Q:

Where is Viximo located?

A:

Our main office is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts in a funky loft that formerly was an old recording studio. We have a satellite office on the west coast and several remote workers around the globe.

Q:

How is Viximo funded?

A:

We're funded by Sigma Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.

Q:

What does the name “Viximo” mean, anyway?

A:

Our name’s meaning is a closely guarded secret that only the Secret Service and employees who have worked for the company for over a year know.

Q:

What is Viximo’s history? When did you start?

A:

We started humbly as a few guys in Cambridge's tech co-working space, Betahouse in 2007. One day we had a naming party (we almost ended up named after a bacteria), hired 15 more folks and moved into an old recording studio in Davis Square. And the rest is history!
