Q:

How do you support my need to test the Viximo application platform on my network before we are live? Can I try new games before I launch them?

A:

We have a dedicated sandbox environment that supports testing of the initial integration of the platform into your network in a controlled, off-line environment with full functionality for testing viral marketing channels, payments and currency purchases.

After you are live, this sandbox environment remains intact, supporting your ability to "test drive" our applications all you want.

Q:

How hard is it to add an additional game to our network after we go live?

A:

For most sites, new games can be deployed with the click of a button. If localization is required and we do not currently have a game available in your audience’s primary language(s), we usually take about 2 weeks to complete localization.

What kind of operational support do you provide? Uptime/downtime monitoring of our application?

A:

We monitor the uptime and manage maintenance windows of our platform and the application partners' games in realtime, testing every 3 minutes from several international locations. We handle the real-time detection of operational outages, and coordinate the response, both in communication to the end-users in the form of a graceful outage notice within the gaming experience, and in communicating to the appropriate parties to resolve the issue.

How do you adapt the games to run on our site's language(s)?

A:

The Viximo platform is built from the ground up to support a variety of world languages. The only work from your side is to pass an industry-standard locale code (en-US for english, for example) for the user's preferred language, and we do the rest.

We work very closely with our application partners and a dedicated team of native-speaking translators who have deep experience in application localization. This helps us keep the games and the frequent updates of high-quality content available to all of our international users, in their native languages.

What kind of analytics do you provide?

A:

Viximo provides a full suite of analytics options that are used to measure and optimize social game interactions on your site. This information is available to you via a real-time dashboard. In addition, we will conduct weekly calls to assess your site’s social gaming business and drill into more detailed analytic questions.

What kind of technology is used in the integration?

A:

Both a set of JS components and RESTful services are used.

Why should I put games onto my social network?

A:

Social games are an excellent way to monetize your site. And unlike obtrusive advertising, social games can help create a deeper engagement with your users and further benefit their in site experience.

What if we already have a site-wide currency?

A:

We have several partners on the publisher network that already have a vibrant virtual currency platform of their own. The Viximo platform is easily integrated into these external economies, since it was built from the beginning to handle this.

We also have a few publisher partners that have a game section which runs other non-Viximo content. We can work and play well with others, although of course we do not have the same level of full management and customer support for any non-Viximo applications, even in cases where we are the currency provider for those non-Viximo games.

What if we already have an application platform?

A:

This is not a problem for us. We can integrate to your platform. We have extensive experience with both OpenSocial-based and proprietary application platforms.
